Northern Chapter Ride and Rally on August 11

Attention MMBA members and non-members!

I don’t know if many of you have realized all the cool stuff we have cooking in our region, how much awesome new single track we’ll be building over the next year and how many sweet events we have on deck, but things are really hopping in our little chapter! Because of this, I’d like to invite members and non-members alike to hear about and see what we have brewing here up north.

On Wednesday, August 11 we’ll be meeting in the back of the parking lot at the Kalesium in Kalkaska at 6:00 p.m. for a no-drop ride that leaves no later than 6:15. After the ride, we’ll roll on up to the conference room at the Kaliseum at 7:45 for some post ride grub and we’ll cover what’s been happening behind the scenes, current projects, the Logsplitter and what’s coming in the future. If its a rain out we’ll still meet up at 7:30 in the Kalesium conference room.

Not only do we want to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening, but we need volunteers to make it happen. Besides, what could be more rewarding than rolling down a fresh new ribbons of single track that you helped build? Bottom line, it’s a very cool time to be a mountain biker in northern Michigan.

Leave a comment or email northern@mmba.org if you’ll be making it so I can get an idea of what we need for food.
